    DIKU is seeking candidates for a professorship in Software Engineering. The new professor is expected to make a significant contribution to leadership in the Software Engineering discipline within the Department of Computer Science.     Postdoctoral Researcher of Big Data Systems

    To address the challenges of large data volumes, high data velocity, and wide data variety, big data systems should employ parallel and distributed computing, modern hardware and architectures (such as GPUs, NUMA, and RDMA, etc.), large main-memory, as well as flexible data models (such as RDF, graph, key-value etc.). We are looking for a postdoc with a strong publication record, preferably in the intersection of some of the aforementioned areas.     PhD fellow in Dynamic Tomography

    DIKU is offering a PhD scholarship in Reconstruction of Dynamic Computed Tomography Images. The goal of the project is to develop algorithms for improved reconstruction of time varying three dimensional biological structures with the focus on the beating tail of spermatozoa and is part of the newly started consortium for Max IV Medical Imagers, which is a collaboration between DIKU, DTU and Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance, Hvidovre Hospital. Applicants should hold an MSc degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related fields with good results and preferably with proven experience in constructing tomographic algorithms and other topics from the project description.
